Steelers upset Ravens, Bills knock off Chiefs, Texans edge Cowboys

Just when you think you might be getting it going picking these NFL games, the league reminds you that you don’t have any idea.

That happened to me last week. After a solid Week 9, Week 10 went into the toilet. I was 5-9 against the spread and 7-7 straight up. That drops my season ATS record to 69-80-3 and my straight-up record to 89-63.

It’s time to get it going. This league has been tough to figure out this year, but I feel like a good week is coming. There are a lot of big games this week, a great slate in fact, so let’s hope that helps turn around my miserable ways here picking games.

Green Bay Packers (-6) at Chicago Bears
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, fubo try for free)

The Packers are coming off a bye week and the Bears look like they need one. They are having problems scoring points and the offense is disjointed. How much can firing the coordinator help? Not enough. The Packers needed the bye to get Jordan Love healthier. He is and it shows up. Packers take it over a spiraling Bears team.

Pick: Packers 29, Bears 17

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (-13)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

This has all the makings of a blowout. The Lions are home after two road victories, while the lifeless Jaguars are out on the road after two home losses. The Lions offense was off last week, but the Jaguars defense is the perfect way to get back on track. This is ugly.

Pick: Lions 38, Jaguars 10

Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins (-7.5)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

This is a long trip for the Raiders, but they are off a bye. The Dolphins are playing on a short week off a West Coast game. That’s tough. Miami’s defense was outstanding against the Rams on Monday night, and that will carry over here. But the Raiders will hang around.

Pick: Dolphins 23, Raiders 19

Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) at New England Patriots
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, fubo try for free)

The Rams seemed uneven on offense in losing to the Dolphins on Monday night. Their lack of speed showed up. The Patriots seem to be growing each week offensively with Drake Maye. I look for the Patriots to hang around in this game and keep it close. Really close.

Pick: Rams 24, Patriots 23

Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints (-1)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, fubo try for free)

The Saints are coming off a nice upset victory in Darren Rizzi’s first game as interim coach. The Browns are coming off a bye. Cleveland has the better defense, which will show up against Derek Carr. Jameis Winston will play well enough to win it in his return to New Orleans against his former team. Revenge game.

Pick: Browns 23, Saints 16

Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

This is an enormous game for first place in the AFC North. The Ravens have had defensive issues for a long time, which could be a problem in this one. The Steelers are the better defensive team, and they will control Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense just a little. Both teams will score, but the Steelers will win it late on a Chris Boswell field goal.

Pick: Steelers 30, Ravens 27

Minnesota Vikings (-6) at Tennessee Titans
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

The Vikings are out on the road for a second straight week and didn’t look good last week against the Jaguars, but found a way to win. Sam Darnold has not been good the past few weeks. The Titans are playing for the future, but they will show up and play well here. Look for a close game with the Vikings winning it late.

Pick: Vikings 23, Titans 20

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets (-4)
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

The Jets have looked awful and their season is basically over with one more loss. They Colts have lost three straight and the Joe Flacco move hasn’t paid off. The Jets looked like they quit last week, but I think they show some fight here. They stay alive.

Pick: Jets 23, Colts 17

Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos (-2)
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (Fox, fubo try for free)

This is a second straight road game for the Falcons, who lost to the Saints last week. Denver is back home after losing two on the road. Kirk Cousins and the offense didn’t do enough last week, and this Denver defense is better than the Saints. That matters. The Broncos win it.

Pick: Broncos 24, Falcons 20

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers (-6.5)
Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (Fox, fubo try for free)

The Seahawks are coming off a bye, while the 49ers are off a tough victory at Tampa. The 49ers are getting healthier, which again makes them a Super Bowl contender. They blew out the Seahawks in the first meeting a few weeks ago. That will be the same formula here as the 49ers offense rolls against a so-so Seattle defense.

Pick: 49ers 30, Seahawks 17

Bonus: The SportsLine Projection Model, which is up more than $7,000 on NFL picks since its inception, shows a lot of value on one team covering the spread. To see who that club is, check out SportsLine.

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (-2.5)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

This is the game of the week, with the Bills trying to beat their nemesis and the Chiefs trying to stay undefeated. The Chiefs haven’t looked great on offense this season, while the Bills and Josh Allen have most of the time. This is one of those games Allen and the Buffalo offense will outplay the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Bills win it.

Pick: Bills 27. Chiefs 23

Bonus: The SportsLine Projection Model is also picking the Bills to cover as part of its five-game parlay made up of the strongest spread picks of the week. Check out the other legs of the parlay, here.

Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5)
Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, fubo try for free)

The highlight here will be Joe Burrow and the Bengals passing game against the Chargers’ top-ranked defense. Burrow can score on anybody, so it comes down to Justin Herbert against the Bengals defense. That edge goes to the Chargers. Herbert wins a shootout.

Pick: Chargers 31, Bengals 28

Houston Texans (-7.5) at Dallas Cowboys
Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, fubo try for free)

The Cowboys look cooked, especially without Dak Prescott. But the Texans haven’t looked great, either. They have lost two straight. I think they will find a way to win this one, but it’s close as the Cowboys show some pride on Monday night.

CBS Sports NFL analyst Nate Burleson breaks down most anticipated game of season

The biggest game of the NFL season is taking place in Orchard Park on Sunday, as the Kansas City Chiefs head up to Highmark Stadium to take on the Buffalo Bills (4:25 p.m. ET on CBS) in a battle of the top two teams in the AFC. This game is a continuation of one of the best rivalries in football, and one of the best quarterback matchups as Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen face off for the seventh time (including playoffs).

Both Kansas City (9-0) and Buffalo (8-2) are a combined 17-2 entering the game, the seventh-best combined record between to teams entering the game since the 1970 merger. Mahomes and Allen are the second quarterback pair from different divisions to meet eight times in a five-season span since 1970 (Peyton Manning and Tom Brady met eight times from 2003 to 2007).

In one of the biggest regular seaosn matchups in years, CBS Mornings and THE NFL TODAY analyst Nate Burleson provided an insight on what to expect Sunday.

*THE NFL TODAY will be live from Buffalo on Sunday. Fans can join the crew in Lot 6 at Highmark Stadium starting at Noon ET on Nov. 17.

Do the Bills lack of outside threats at wide receiver prevent them from winning a championship this year?

Burleson: “That’s why they loaded up and traded for Amari Cooper. And listen, you can say that Khalil Shakir isn’t your traditional top tier wide receiver, but if you look at his output by the numbers — he’s up there with the best in the game as far as dependability. I think it’s like a 90% catch rate with his QB, so he’s working the interior of the field. And that moves the chains juts like the big shots down the field do.

“With Keon Coleman being banged up, that’s tough. I’d love to see him play in this one. At the same time, you got guys like Dalton Kincaid, who can also move the chains. I do feel like they have stocked up and they are better at this position than they have been in quite some time. It’s different when you have a Stefon Diggs, a true No. 1 who is a dominant force all on his own — then have a group of guys that can all do the same thing collectively. I do feel like they have that as long as the guys are healthy.”

Do you think that’s forced Josh Allen — I don’t want to say forced — but Allen is a better quarterback when he’s spreading the ball around more than trying to force-feed Stefon Diggs?

Burleson: “I just think you have to adjust as a quarterback when you have a group of guys, and now they added Amari Cooper, they have a wide range of the older veteran and the young rookie. You’re trying to keep everybody happy and on top of that you can really work inside out when you have a guy like Khalil Shakir and you have tight ends and running backs that can catch out of the backfield.

“It allow you to go though your progressions. I do think he’s doing a great job of spreading the ball around, making sure everybody is happy, and then at the same time taking care of (the football). Josh Allen is so damn talented and when he’s on the money and taking care of the rock, he’s so hard to beat.”

Too many people have been criticizing the Chiefs for their 9-0 start. 9-0 is 9-0. Do you personally think they can sustain this level of play all year?

Burleson: “Why not? Can’t argue with wins. It’s a bottom line business, wins and losses. And they’re winning. I was told as a rookie, you never apologize for a victory, so it doesn’t matter how you get it. I do believe that they’re getting the rhythm at the right time. In the beginning of the season, damn near everybody was in a magazine, shooting a commercial, in a movie, filming a game show — and that’s not a knock on them. I’d be doing the same thing. Shoot, I was doing it and I didn’t make a playoffs a couple of years.

“But imagine winning a Super Bowl and all of a sudden the world opens up to you. It’s hard to go into the seaosn with the same type of consistency. When you’re successful at the top like the Chiefs are and you don’t have that old school, traditional training camp, and you’re not playing a lot in the preseason — you’re gonna start slow.

“Now they’re figuring it out, Now they’re moving like they’re used to. Travis Kelce is getting back to the dominant ways. I feel like that’s scary for the rest of the league. While the rest of the league is trying to sustain success, these guys are now catching a rhythm, and they’re undefeated.”

Is this Andy Reid’s best coaching job?

Burleson: “I believe Andy Reid can win coach of the year every season. Everyone is gunning to knock off the kings on the throne. Age is coaching against age. How do you coach your guy different as he gets older? The quarterbacks, linemen, tight ends, and defensive players. Then you add in this young group of hungry superstars that add an element to this offense. For them to be undefeated at this point, a lot of credit goes to Andy.”

Chiefs-Bills the best rivalry in football?

Burleson: “I don’t know, man. I love it. Don’t get me wrong. It’s the best one to watch because we’ve seen the Bills have success in the regular season and we know what happens in the postseason. Patrick Mahomes, when he’s the zone, can throw for 50 touchdowns and be our MVP. When Josh Allen is in his bag, I don’t think anyone has the skill set he has — big, fast, strong, crazy arm.

“As a fan, this is a pretty cool one to watch. I still like the Vikings and the Packers. I still like Pittsburgh against damn near everybody, especially in the AFC North. I like this one, but there are some pretty cool rivalries out there.”

TV channel, kickoff time, NFL live stream, spread, odds, prediction

The Cincinnati Bengals entered the season as contenders for the AFC title. Through 10 games, they are instead fighting for their playoff lives — facing a must-win situation against the Los Angeles Chargers. The two teams will square off on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 11, each with something to prove with their seasons going in opposite directions.

The Chargers (6-3) are 6-0 against teams currently .500 or better, which is why they are in the thick of the AFC playoff picture. The Bengals (4-6), meanwhile, haven’t beaten a team that is currently .500 or better (4-1 against under. 500 teams).

If the Bengals wish to make a playoff run in the AFC, this matchup against the Chargers is pivotal. The Chargers can put the Bengals in a hole that will be very hard do dig out of in regards to the AFC playoff race, while solidifying their own playoff case.

Here’s how the watch the “Sunday Night Football” showdown, along with a short preview:

Joe Burrow vs. Chargers defense
The Chargers defense is the best in the NFL, as its 13.1 points per game allowed is the fewest allowed by any team in a season since the 2006 Baltimore Ravens. Only one team has even scored 20 points against the Chargers this season, which was the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3 (they scored exactly 20). The Chargers have allowed just 11.7 points per game over the last three games, and their 1.18 points allowed per possession is first in the league.

Burrow will be one of the toughest tests for the No. 1 scoring defense. As bad as the Bengals have been playing, Burrow hasn’t. He’s the NFL leader in completions (246) and passing yards (2,672) this season entering Week 11, and has nine passing touchdowns in his last two games. The Bengals have averaged 37.5 points per game over that stretch, yet are just 1-1 despite Burrow playing well.

Ja’Marr Chase is the NFL leader in receptions (66), receiving yards (981), and receiving touchdowns (10) this season — and is coming off a 264-yard, three-touchdown performance against the Baltimore Ravens. The Burrow-Chase combination has been the most dynamic quarterback-wide receiver duo in the NFL this season. They will be a good test for the Chargers — who are the first team since the 1999 Jacksonville Jaguars to allow fewer than 21 points and fewer than 375 total yards in each of its first nine games.

Prediction
As well as the Chargers have played on defense, their success also boils down to Justin Herbert over the last several weeks. Herbert has a career-high 103.2 passer rating this season with 11 touchdowns to just one interception — the second-highest TD/INT ratio in the NFL (11.0) behind Lamar Jackson (12.0). Since the bye week, Herbert has the fifth-highest explosive pass rate (percentage of completions for 20+ yards) and the third-lowest off-target rate (6.0%) in that span.

Herbert against the 23rd-ranked pass defense (347.5 yards per game) and the 26th-ranked defense in points per possession allowed (2.33) just seems like a mismatch. The Bengals need Burrow and the offense to significantly carry them this week to have a shot, which they can do on any given week.

Score: Chargers 28, Bengals 22

Bonus: SportsLine expert R.J. White is on an 18-6 against-the-spread roll on Bengals games. We can tell you he’s leaning Under on the points total, but who does he have ATS?

Patriots waive former second-round pick Tyquan Thornton, clear spot for Christian Barmore return

The New England Patriots have waived wide receiver Tyquan Thornton after three seasons with the team, the team announced on Saturday. Thornton was part of a logjam at wide receiver in New England, having just four catches for 47 yards in six games this season.

In a corresponding move, the Patriots activated defensive tackle Christian Barmore from the non-football illness list. This places Barmore on the active roster and makes him eligible to play on Sunday.

A second-round pick in the 2022 draft, Thornton’s speed never translated into the NFL after he ran a 4.28 at the combine. He had just 39 catches for 385 yards and two touchdowns in his three seasons with the Patriots, averaging 9.9 yards per catch.

The Patriots had seven wide receivers on the 53-man roster, so one was expendable. Waiving Thornton freed up a roster spot for Barmore — who returned to practice this week after being diagnosed with blood clots this summer.

Thornton was inactive for four of the last five games, falling down the depth chart as rookie wideout Ja’Lynn Polk and second-year pro Kayshon Boutte emerged. Boutte has 17 catches for 250 yards and a touchdown this season while Polk has 11 catches for 80 yards and two touchdowns in six starts.

Latest updates on CeeDee Lamb, Nico Collins, Tee Higgins, and other players

Now that we are 10 weeks into the NFL regular season, all 32 clubs are dealing with injuries. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to his hamstring injury, tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Sam LaPorta are dealing with knee and shoulder injuries that forced them to the sideline this week, and Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has already been ruled out for the second straight game due to a shoulder injury.

Let’s take a look at how each NFL team is faring from a health standpoint. Below is a rundown of every team’s final injury report entering this weekend’s games.

All NFL sports betting odds courtesy of BetMGM.

Green Bay Packers (-5.5) at Chicago Bears
Packers: RB MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/abdomen), T/G Jordan Morgan (shoulder/IR) OUT; Colby Wooden (shoulder) DOUBTFUL; CB Jaire Alexander (knee), S Evan Williams (hamstring) QUESTIONABLE
Bears: LT Kiran Amegadjie (calf), LG Teven Jenkins (ankle) OUT; DE Montez Sweat (ankle), S Tarvarius Moore (concussion) QUESTIONABLE
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Friday that Lloyd woke up that morning with appendicitis. The Packers are checking with the NFL to see if there is a way Lloyd can play later this year, as Green Bay has already opened Lloyd’s 21-day practice window.

The Bears received some positive news Friday as both Sweat and Moore were full practice participants. Doug Kramer Jr. will likely replace Jenkins in the starting lineup. Kramer’s most notable play this year was his fumble near the goal line during Chicago’s Week 8 loss to the Commanders.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions (-14)
Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence (left shoulder), RB Tank Bigsby (ankle) OUT; OL Ezra Cleveland (ankle), DT Maason Smith (ankle), RB Keilan Robinson (toe) QUESTIONABLE
Lions: TE Sam LaPorta (shoulder), DL Brodric Martin (knee), Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle/finger), CB Emmanuel Moseley (pectoral) OUT; LB Ben Niemann (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
Jacksonville had previously announced that Lawrence will be out this week, but made it official on Friday. This now sets up Mac Jones for his second consecutive start.

LaPorta is one of several Lions players will miss Sunday’s game. With LaPorta out, backup tight end Brock Wright could see more targets after catching nine passes during the season’s first nine games.

Minnesota Vikings (-6) at Tennessee Titans
Vikings: OLB Gabriel Murphy (knee) OUT
Titans: CB L’Jarius Sneed (quad), OT Leroy Watson IV (back) OUT; WR Tyler Boyd (back), DB Justin Hardee (groin) QUESTIONABLE
Minnesota is largely healthy heading into this matchup as Murphy — who is currently in his 21-day practice window — is the lone player ruled out for Week 11. No other player carries an injury designation.

Neither Sneed nor Watson practiced at all this week, so those two officially being ruled out shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Meanwhile, Hardee did return to practice on Friday as a limited participant after missing Thursday’s session, giving him positive momentum to play. Boyd was a late addition on Saturday.

Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins (-7.5)
Raiders: CB Nate Hobbs (ankle), C Andre James (ankle), OG Cody Whitehair (ankle), TE Harrison Bryant (ankle) OUT; TE Michael Mayer (not injury related) QUESTIONABLE
Dolphins: CB Kendall Fuller (concussion) OUT; OT Terron Armstead (knee), FB Alec Ingold (calf), OL Robert Jones (knee), S Patrick McMorris (calf), OL Isaiah Wynn (quad, knee) QUESTIONABLE
After returning to practice on Thursday on a limited basis, Bryant did not participate Friday and has since been ruled out. In other tight end news, Mayer is questionable, but did practice in full throughout the week.

After popping up on the injury report this week with a knee injury, Dolphins corner Jalen Ramsey carries no injury designation, meaning he will play on Sunday. The same can be said for Tyreek Hill. The wideout, who is battling a wrist injury, also has no injury designation and practiced fully on Friday.

Los Angeles Rams (-4.5) at New England Patriots
Rams: NT Neville Gallimore (neck), OL Rob Havenstein (ankle), CB Charles Woods (ankle) OUT; OL Joe Noteboom (ankle) DOUBTFUL; CB Josh Wallace (hip), OLB Byron Young (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Patriots: CB Alex Austin (ankle), DT Christian Barmore (not injury-related), S Kyle Dugger (ankle), DT Daniel Ekuale (abdomen), LB Christian Elliss (abdomen), OT Vederian Lowe (shoulder), S Marte Mapu (neck), DT Jaquelin Roy (neck), LB Sione Takitaki (knee), DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot) QUESTIONABLE
The Rams are holding out some sliver of hope that Noteboom can suit up on Sunday by not outright ruling him out, but the offensive tackle is doubtful after not practicing all week.

Barmore made his return to practice this week for the Patriots after missing the start of the year due to blood clots. He did not practice on Friday, but is officially listed as questionable for Week 11. Wise Jr. did not practice at all this week due to a foot injury, but is listed as questionable.

Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints (-1)
Browns: DT Mike Hall Jr. (knee/IR), Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee) OUT
Saints: OG Lucas Patrick (ankle), RB Jamaal Williams (groin) OUT; LB Pete Werner (hand), DB J.T. Gray (hip), C Erik McCoy (groin), CB Kool-Aid McKinstry (hamstring), WR Cedrick Wilson Jr. (shoulder), LB Nephi Sewell (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Cleveland got some bad news on Saturday, as Wills’ knee injury flared up and he will now miss the game. Hall was placed on injured reserve after not practicing on Friday.

Patrick and Williams did not practice all week for the Saints and have since been ruled out. Werner returned to practice on a limited basis on Friday and is among those questionable.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets (-4)
Colts: T Bernhard Raimann (knee) OUT; LB EJ Speed (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Jets: LT Tyron Smith (neck), RG Jake Hanson (hamstring), LB C.J. Mosley (neck) OUT; WR Davante Adams (wrist/illness), DT Solomon Thomas (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Indianapolis will have DeForest Buckner (foot) for Sunday despite the veteran defensive tackle not practicing Wednesday and Friday.

While he is listed as questionable, Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said he expects Adams to be able to play Sunday. First-round pick Olu Fashanu will start for the Jets in Smith’s place.

Baltimore Ravens (-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Ravens: CB Arthur Maulet (calf), S Eddie Jackson (non-injury related) OUT; DT Travis Jones (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
Steelers: CB C.J. Henderson (neck), LB Alex Highsmith (ankle), CB Cory Trice Jr. (hamstring) OUT; TE MyCole Pruitt (knee) DOUBTFUL; RB Jaylen Warren (back) QUESTIONABLE
After appearing on the injury report as a limited participant on Thursday, Lamar Jackson practiced in full on Friday and carries not injury designation for this game. Safety Kyle Hamilton also logged a full practice Friday after being limited Thursday and has not designation.

The Steelers have ruled out Henderson and Highsmith after not practicing this week while Trice was ruled out on Saturday. They also have Warren listed as questionable after he missed Thursday’s practice and was limited on Friday. Fellow running back Najee Harris has not injury designation after logging his second full practice.

Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos (-2)
Falcons: TE Charlie Woerner (concussion), DE Ta’Quon Graham (pectoral), OLB James Smith-Williams (tibia), LB Troy Andersen (knee), LB JD Bertrand (concussion), CB Dee Alford (hamstring), CB Antonio Hamilton (pectoral), DB Mike Hughes (neck) OUT
Broncos: WR Josh Reynolds (hand), LB Drew Sanders (Achilles), S Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) OUT; S Brandon Jones (abdomen) QUESTIONABLE
As you can see, Atlanta will be without several key players, especially in the secondary. Expect backup defensive backs Clark Phillips III, Kevin King and Richie Grant to play key roles in the outcome of Sunday’s game while playing in relief of Alford, Hamilton and Hughes.

Despite logging full practices throughout the week, the Broncos have listed Reynolds, Sanders and Turner-Yell out for Week 11. Starting safety Jones is questionable after being limited throughout the week of practice.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers (-6.5)
Seahawks: TE Noah Fant (groin), TE Brady Russell (foot), C Connor Williams (personal) OUT
49ers: DT Kevin Givens (groin), P Mitch Wishnowsky (back), CB Charvarius Ward (personal) OUT; CB Darrell Luter Jr. (pelvis) DOUBTFUL; OT Trent Williams (ankle), OL Jon Feliciano (knee), DE Nick Bosa (hip), TE George Kittle (hamstring), G Aaron Banks (thigh), DL Yetur Gross-Matos QUESTIONABLE
Seattle is without two of its tight ends, but it did receive good news with wideout DK Metcalf (knee) not having an injury designation.

The Niners are listing star tight end George Kittle as questionable due to a hamstring injury that forced him to miss practice earlier in the week.

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (-2)
Chiefs: RB Isiah Pacheco (ankle), DE Charles Omenihu (knee) OUT
Bills: WR Keon Coleman (wrist), TE Dalton Kincaid (knee), LB Matt Milano (triceps) OUT; WR Amari Cooper (wrist), RT Spencer Brown (ankle) QUESTIONABLE
Pacheco won’t play as the Chiefs recently opened up his 21-day practice window. That means Kareem Hunt will continue to handle the majority of the workload in the Chiefs’ backfield. Kansas City will have wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) back in the lineup. This will be the first time the Chiefs will have Smith-Schuster, DeAndre Hopkins and rookie wideout Xavier Worthy in the lineup together.

Buffalo is surely hoping Cooper can play given Coleman’s absence. Cooper, who missed Buffalo’s past two games, said this week that he is trending toward being available for Sunday’s game. Either way, the Bills’ passing attack will likely continue to be led by wideouts Khalil Shakir and Mack Hollins and running back James Cook.

Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5)
Bengals: WR Charlie Jones (groin) OUT; LB Joe Bachie (hip) DOUBTFUL; OT Orlando Brown Jr. (knee/fibula), DE Trey Hendrickson (neck/rest), DT B.J. Hill (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Chargers: OLB Khalil Mack (groin) QUESTIONABLE
Bengals wideout Tee Higgins (quad) does not have an injury designation for Sunday after missing Cincinnati’s last three games. The Bengals are 3-2 with Higgins in the lineup this season and are 1-4 without him. Hendrickson isn’t flying out with the team, but is expected to make the trip out to California on Saturday due to personal reasons.

Los Angeles has only Khalil Mack listed with an injury designation for Week 11 as the pass rusher is questionable with a groin injury. Running backs J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards along with pass rusher Joey Bosa are all off injury report and good to go for Week 11.

Houston Texans (-7.5) at Dallas Cowboys (Monday)
Texans: DE Will Anderson Jr. (ankle), DT Folorunso Fatukasi (foot), T Blake Fisher (concussion) OUT; CB Kamari Lassister (concussion), CB Jeff Okudah (quad) QUESTIONABLE
Cowboys: CB DaRon Bland (foot), CB Jourdan Lewis (neck), QB Dak Prescott (hamstring) OUT; FB Hunter Luepke (calf) DOUBTFUL; LB Nick Vigil (foot), T Chuma Edoga (tow), WR CeeDee Lamb (back), G Zack Martin (shoulder) QUESTIONABLE
Great news for the Texans, as wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) was not given an injury designation. He’ll play on Monday night against the Cowboys. No injury designation for linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (knee), so he’ll also play this week.

The surprise for the Cowboys is Lamb, who was not listed on the injury report all week until Saturday. Lamb was a limited participant in Saturday’s practice and is expected to be a game-time decision on Monday. Cooper Rush is expected to start at quarterback. No injury designation for guard Tyler Smith (knee), as he was a full participant on Saturday.
